Shipwrecked

Sleep until the day,
Dream come what may,
If when you wake I’m gone,
You know I wont be long,
I’m weary as I wait,
It’s eerie and it’s late,
I’m longing to be home,
Don’t want to be alone.

One dual carriageway castle makes thunder through the dark,
Lit up like a night time shop front,
The distant blare of a distant fox hunt.

If our little boat it hits the rocks below,
We’ll scramble overboard and swim towards the shore,
No one gets shipwrecked anymore.
